日本には四季があり、それぞれの季節がとても美しいです。僕が住んでいる所は、北の方なので冬には沢山雪が降ります。
There are 4 seasons in Japan and each season is so beautiful. The area I live in is in the north side of Japan, so there is a lot of snow in the winter.
日本独特の梅雨を説明する時は、こんな感じで言ってみるのもいいですね。The rainy season has just started in Japan, it will continue until July. I can't forget to bring an umbrella everyday. （日本では雨季が始まりました。雨季は七月まで続きます。毎日傘を持っていくのを欠かせません。）
1年を通しての日本の平均気温は15度程度ですが、南と北では違いがあります。
The average temperature in Japan is about 15℃ throughout the year, but there are differences between the south area and north area.
「年間を通して」=Throughout the year という言い方を覚えましょう。I had a lot of experiences throughout the year living in a different country.（異国に住み、年間を通して沢山の経験をしました。）
日本は地震がたくさん起きていますので、万が一に備えておく必要があります。
There are a lot of earthquakes happening in Japan, so we have to prepare for it just in case.
地震は英語で、earthquake といいます。ちなみに余震は、aftershock で表現しますよ。例）We are still having strong aftershocks every 2 hours.（二時間毎に、未だに強い余震があります。）
日本は頻繁に自然災害に悩まされています。
Japan often suffers with natural disasters.
suffer は、「不快な事を経験する／受ける」という意味があり、suffer with~ 「～で悩む／苦しむ」また、suffer from ~=「～に苦しむ」という意味があります。例）She is suffering from serious illness.（彼女は、大変な病気で苦しんでいる。）
今日、山間部では今年初めて雪が降りました。
Today, snow fell in the mountain region for the first time this year.
「雪が降る」は、snow fall で表現されます。例）Did snow fall yet your place? （君のとこではもう雪が降った？）また、snowy （形容詞）や、snowingで表現されることもありますね。例）It's snowing out side.（外で雪が降っているよ。）It's snowy today.（今日は雪が降っているよ。）
海外を旅する度に、日本の緑の多い美しさに気がつき、感動します。
Every time I go on a trip to other countries, I realize how beautiful Japan is to have a lot of green. It leaves me feeling impressed.
「感動する」という言い方は様々にありますが、今回は impressed を使いました。impressedは、何かに感銘を受けたときや、感心した時に使います。例）Wow! I am impressed by your English! （君の英語力はすごいね！）このように、何かに感心した時に使う事が出来ますね。
日本はよく台風のような深刻な自然災害に悩まされます。
Japan often suffers from serious natural disaster such as typhoons.
suffer from ~ =「～に悩まされる／～に苦しむ」という表現です。例）A lot of people from developing countries are suffering from a lack of water.（発展途上国の多くの人が水不足で苦しんでいます。）
冬は日本海側で、曇りや雨、雪の日が多い傾向があります。
Winter on the Sea of Japan side of the country tends to have more cloudy, rainy or snowy days.
「～する傾向がある」= tend to~ で表現するといいですね。例）The obesity rate in America tends to increase each year. （アメリカの肥満率は年々上昇する傾向がある。）
日本のこの梅雨時期には、天気予報に注意していなければいけません。
During this rainy season in Japan, you have to keep an eye on the weather focast.
「〜を注視する・目をやる」という意味がある、keep an eye on 〜を覚えましょう。例）I have to keep an eye on my baby all the time, she try to eat anything.（私の赤ちゃんは何でも食べようとするので、常に目をやっていなければいけません。）
沖縄の人にとって台風の季節は大変なことです。
Tyhoon season is such a big deal for Okinawan people.
big deal とは「おおごと・重大事」のことです。ネイティブが会話の中でよく使いますよ。例）Don't worry about it. It's not a big deal to me.（気にしないでくれ、大したことじゃないから。）
日本では、冬から春に移り変わる時に初めて吹く強い風を「春一番」と呼びます。
In Japan, the first strong winds occur when the season changes from winter into spring. It is called "Haru Ichiban"
change into ~ = 「～に変化させる」という使い方です。例）I bought nice shoes, but since they were too small for me, I had to change into a different size. （素敵な靴を買いましたが、サイズが小さかったので、他のサイズに変えなければいけませんでした。）
二週間連続で台風に襲われています。
We have been stuck because of a typhoon for two weeks in a row.
in a row という表現は、何か連続的なことを表現する際に使います。例）She has been absent from work three days in a row.（彼女は3日連続で仕事を休んでいる。）I have been only eating vegetables for 1 week in a row.（一週間連続で野菜しか食べていない。）
