「知っての通り・ご存知の通り」という表現は、As you know ～ で表します。As you well know, we use chopsticks when we eat, but sometimes only for eating Sushi, you can also use your hands. （よくご存じの通り、日本では食べるときに箸を使いますが、寿司を食べる時だけは手で食べてもいいんです。）
日本の学校教育では、文化を学ぶ様々な文化活動が設けられています。

provided =「設けられている」という言い方です。（例）He has provided me a great opportunity.（彼は私のために、素晴らしい機会を設けてくれました。）
日本のおりがみは、たった一枚の紙でいつでもどこでも楽しめることから、今や世界中で人気を集めています。
Japanese paper art, Origami, is now popular all over the world, for it takes only a sheet of paper and you can easily enjoy anywhere, anytime.
all over the world=「世界中で」「日本国内中で」=all over in Japan 「アジア各国で」=all over the countries of Asia.
日本での元旦は、アメリカで言うクリスマス様に家族でゆっくり過ごします。
In Japan, we spend the New Year's day relaxing at the home with family like Christmas day in America.
「家でゆっくり過ごす」という表現は、relax at home. または、Take it easy in the house. このような表現がいいですね。例）I don't want to go anywhere today, I just want to take it easy in the house all day.（今日は何処にも行きたくないわ。ただ、一日中家でゆっくり過ごしたいの。）
日本はこの美しい自然があるからこそ、音楽、絵画、彫刻、庭園などの様々な芸術が発展していったに思います。
I think because of the beautiful nature of Japan, many arts has been developed such as music, painting, sculpture and Japanese style gardens.
develop =「発展する／発達する」例）She has developed her Japanese skill in a very short time.（彼女は短い期間に日本語を上達させた。）
今や、日本の食文化は多くの外国人を惹き付けている様です。
Today, It seems Japanese food culture fascinates many foreigners.
fascinate =「（人を）惹き付ける／魅了する」という意味があります。例）Her elegant attitude fascinated a lot of men.（彼女のエレガントさは、多くの男性を魅了した。）
振り袖は、独身女性が日本の式典などの特別な際に着る着物です。
Furisode is a kimono for single women and worn on special occasions such as a Japanese ceremony.
special occasions は、何か特別な行事の事を指しますね。そして、such as ~「～の様な」で、特別な行事がどんな行事であるかを説明しています。
今や、日本には多様な文化が存在します。
Nowadays, Japan has a diversity of cultures.
diversity=「多様」という意味です。他にも、variety, various などで表現できます。例）Japan has various cultures nowadays.（近頃日本には多様な文化が存在する。）
日本の文化を継承しようと、多くの学校で文化活動が行われています。
A lot of schools are conducting some cultural activities to hand down Japanese culture.
「〜を行う・実践する」と表現したい場合は、conduct を使うといいでしょう。また、hand down には（伝統や習慣などを）「継承する・繋げる」という意味がありますよ。
私の意見では、日本の食文化は世界では最高峰の一つだと思います。
In my opinion, I think Japanese food culture is of the highest quality in the world.
自分の意見を述べる際に、In my opinion や、I think ~ を使うと、より文章に肉がついて英語が様になりますね。最高峰は、highest を使いましょう。例）This wine is the highest quality brand in Japan.（このワインは、日本では最高峰のブランドです。）
日本の文化は世界に通用するものだと思います。
I think Japan has a world-class culture.
能力や品質などが「世界に通用する」と、表現したい場合には、world-class を使うと良いですね。また、「英語は世界で通用する言葉です」という様に言いたい場合には、English is the language spoken all over the world. と表現するといいですね。
